Inserts are the paper information sheets that are joined into the card itself to carry your message. Because done by daisy specialises in stitching we are able to bring you a unique style of insert.
spine-stitched; this is usually best on portrait orientated cards and it the style most favoured for Wedding Invitations, because it looks and feels expensive. It works equally well on A5 or A6 size cards. A line of straight stitches run through the vertical fold of the card and matching paper wording insert to hold the two together. The insert is trimmed to be marginally smaller than it's card outer so as to sit neatly inside. The back of the stitching from the front cover of the card is obscured.
flat-stitched, torn or cut; looking for something a little bit funkier? This style of insert works on both folded and postcard type cards. Zig-zag style stitching matching that on the outside of the card is used to attach the single, flat paper insert to the right hand inside of the card. With this insert, the back of the stitching from the front cover of the card is visible.
printed direct-to-card; an ultra contemporary finish-this is technically not an insert! It works on both folded and postcard type cards. With this information method, the back of the stitching from the front cover of the card is visible.
